Tune into Some Great Podcasts with Radio National

One of my favourite past times is tuning into some of the many Radio National programs such as Big Ideas, The Science Show and recently I discovered Best Practice which is great for those in Business who want to know wants happening at the leading edge. Of course, there are many more to chose from, and the beauty is that if you miss out on listening to them live you can usually download them as a podcast.

Here's one that caught my ear while driving in the car about Leadership.

According to Richard Eady the presenter for the program, "People gravitate to leaders who are lying narcissists.According to Jeffrey Pfeffer, author of 'Leadership BS', narcissism is positively correlated with career success, and getting raises and promotions in a job. So while we don’t want narcissism in the workplace, we continue to hire narcissists to lead companies, even though the best leaders exhibit characteristics of modesty, trust and concern for others (Saturday 30 April 2016 ABC)".
